by Well, First off there's the equipment. I'm sure none of you intend to no arm him.
Range-
Full void knight or Full Black Dragon hide with an Archers helm or a Blessed D'hide Coif, Dragon Boots or Ranger Boots if you can afford them of course, A Ring of Wealth Or Combat Ring, Amulet of Fury or Amulet of Glory, Ava's Attractor or Accumulator, Rune Crossbow, Ruby Bolts (e), Diamond Bolts (e), or Emerald Bolts (e) are fine, and of course an Anti-Dragonfire shield or Dragonfire shield.
Melee-
Rune or Beter Armor, Freminnik Or neitiznot helms are great. Dragonhide Armor also works too since the dragons attacks are magic based. For a weaper you probably want to go with a whip or dragon scimitar, with a Ddp++ for the specials. Again Amulet of Fury or Glory is fine. Also any ring but Ring of Wealth and Combat Rings are your best choice. Combat Bracelet Or Mithril Gloves or Beter from Recipe For Disaster Will work perfectly. As for your cape Legends Cape an Obsidian Cape, A Skill cape, or a fire cape are your best options as they give good overall bonuses.
Food and Potions (melee)- Good food will determine the amount of times you are able to kill the KBD, so Lobsters or higher are reccomended.
2 Super Anti-Poison potions since it is very likely you will be poisoned entering the lair and the KBD can poison also hitting up to 8.
Prayer Potions are also reccomended but not required Only 1 will be neeeded.
As for other potions that is entirely up to you, but be sure not to take too many as it limits the amount of food you can take.
